A blind crocodile, named Bond, has been rescued and brought to WFFT, where he's now ready to start a new life in the sanctuary.
WFFT Animal Adoption Launch
The corona virus pandemic is causing havoc around the globe throughout all human societies. What happens to the rescued animals that are left in the care of these humans?
Here at WFFT we have lost 85% of our regular income, no volunteers, no day visitors and no lodge guests meaning we are desperately seeking funds to feed the 700+ mouths we care for. As funds run low we have to adapt, we have had to let 25% of our staff go. We cannot cut back on the quality or quantity of care or food given to the animals.
Unlike the yearly adoption program these costs are a truer representation of the costs to care for each animal meaning you are solely caring for a specific animal. If you have a favourite animal here at WFFT and would like to adopt them please let us know.
