A blind crocodile, named Bond, has been rescued and brought to WFFT, where he's now ready to start a new life in the sanctuary.
Thai Parliament Committee Visits WFFT
Last week we welcomed some very special guests, a parliamentary committee on animal welfare and wildlife protection. The founder of WFFT, Edwin Wiek is a honorary advisor to this committee which focuses on the creation of better laws to protect wildlife and improve animal welfare here in Thailand. They were on a fact finding mission visiting ourselves, Hui Sai Wildlife Breeding Centre, and a human-elephant conflict project in the Pala-u area of Kaeng Krachan National Park 30 minutes from WFFT. It’s the end of a year of successes and growth for the Wildlife Friends Foundation, we look forward to another successful year ahead. We hope that 2018 brings some positive changes for the animals of Thailand.
