Storm damage at the rescue center
WFFT hit by tropical storm
WFFT was hit hard by a tropical storm last week. Luckily we didn’t have any casualties with either human’s nor our animals, but many of our enclosures & buildings were damaged by the falling trees, landslides, forest runoffs and heavy rainfall. This is of course nothing compared to the disaster in the Philippines, and our hearts go out to our friends there. However, we need to continue to focus on caring for our rescued animals, so our volunteers and Thai staff are currently working hard to repair the damage. Unfortunately it might take quite some time before we are able to have all enclosures and buildings functional again. If you would like to help to cover the cost for all repairs, please donate money through the donate page of our website.
