Snake rescue and release
Big or small, snakes should not come into your home!
Not everyone likes snakes, we know that, but nobody likes a snake to enter their house for sure. Today we were called to catch a snake in the house of a farmer in a small village nearby. The snake, a reticulated python, was not as small as they told us on the phone however! We quickly send out a mobile rescue team and caught the snake. On arrival at the center we did a check up on the snake and found it weak due to dehydration. The snake was treated, had ticks removed and was made ready for release back to the wild. This time far away from human population!
We are very happy that more and more villagers call on WFFT instead of hunting down and killing the snakes.
