“ รูบี้ “เบี๊ยด ดราก้อน หรือ มังกรเครา สัตว์เลี้ยงยอดนิยมในหมู่คนชอบสัตว์เลื้อยคลานถูกทิ้งอยู่ข้างๆถังขยะใจกลางกรุงเทพจนมีคนมาพบเข้าจึงได้ติดต่อ WFFT เพื่อหาบ้านหลังใหม่ให้กับเธอ

เป็นเรื่องที่น่าเศร้าสำหรับ รูบี้ ที่ต้องเจอกับเจ้าของที่ไร้ความรับผิดชอบหรือไม่มีความรู้เบื้องต้นในการเลี้ยงสัตว์สวยงามเเบบนี้ จึงตัดสินใจทิ้งไว้โดยไม่สนใจว่าอนาคตของเธอจะเป็นยังไงเเต่ก็ยังโชคดีที่มีคนมาพบเข้าเเละส่งต่อให้กับทางมูลนิธิเพื่อนสัตว์ป่า

ช่วงนี้ฝนตกบ่อยเเละอุณหภูมิลดลงทางทีมสัตวเเพทย์จึงได้ติดตั้งหลอดไฟเเสงอาทิตย์ให้กับรูบี้เพื่อที่เเสงเเดดจะช่วยกิ้งก่าทะเลทรายอย่างเธอย่อยอาหารได้ดีขึ้น

ทุกวันนี้ทางมูลนิธิมีสัตว์ที่ถูกทิ้งต้องการบ้านหลังใหม่เข้ามาทุกๆสัปดาห์ ทุกชีวิตมีคุณค่านะครับ ก่อนจะซื้ออะไรมาเลี้ยงควรตัดสินใจดีๆก่อนว่าเราพร้อมไหม

Bearded dragons are one of the most common and popular exotic pets in Thailand. ‘Ruby’ was found next to a garbage pile in the centre of Bangkok a few days ago, and the person who found her contacted WFFT for help.

It is sad that Ruby’s irresponsible owner could not take care of her, and unthinkable that they would dump such a beautiful creature without knowing what would happen to her. Ruby’s native homeland is Australia so she will not be able to go back to the wild and require life-long care here at WFFT.

In the wild, bearded dragons spend most of their time basking in the sun so our vet team have installed a light bulb for Ruby and allow her to bask outside in the sun to keep her happy and healthy.

Currently, WFFT rescues unwanted and/or abandoned pets almost every week. Keep Wildlife Wild Not as Pets!!!
