Urgent Rescue: Shampoo & Hoy
Two female macaques were rescued on November 3rd 2024 from a horrible cage. They are three and five years old—likely ripped from the wild as babies and kept captive ever since.
These sweet girls, who have only known an unnatural life, are named Hoy and Shampoo. They are pale and weak, having never seen sunlight and knowing only the confines of a small cage.
Thanks to supporters like you, their better future starts now. They’ll undergo a quarantine period at WFFT, where we’ll carefully monitor their behaviour and health. Hoy and Shampoo will get the peace and quiet they need, along with nourishing food and time to settle in. We’ll bring you updates on their journey soon.
We cannot provide life-long care to harmed wild animals without the support of animal lovers like you. Any donation you can give toward their new lives is deeply appreciated. Please give today if you can—only together can we change lives.
