Moving gibbons in to the trees
Gibbon group out of the cage
A small group of (5) gibbons has moved out of the cage at the project1 site to the newest gibbon field on the “project 3 New lands”. All gibbons that were rescued several years ago are now swinging from tree to tree and sleep in the treetops at night. All this provided with financial support of the IPPL (International Primate Protection League)
These 5 gibbons were all rescued at young age and have been living together for years in a 10 meter high cage, but show much more happy behaviour since they moved to their 3,000 square meter field with trees and climbing constructions.
For now the gibbons will live here at least a year, until they might be send to the gibbon release site in Maehongson province.
