hog badger rescue

A female hog badger (Arctonyx collaris) was found chained up at the house of a farmer. The farmer had found the hog badger a few days ago and tried to feed it, but the animal continued to loose weight and strength. Once the badger refused any food or water the WFFT wildlife hospital was called to assist and rescue the poor creature.

We are now fighting to save the life of this poor hog badger and hope to have good news in the coming days. If she indeed regains strength and gets to a full recovery we will release her in a National park, instead of the farmland where she was supposed to have wondered around.
