A blind crocodile, named Bond, has been rescued and brought to WFFT, where he's now ready to start a new life in the sanctuary.
Eight turkeys joined the WFFT family
Recently, a local farmer contacted us with a request. He had eight turkeys that he was determined not to see end up as meat, and he hoped we could offer them a new lease on life. Eager to help, we agreed to take them in and provide a safe haven at our sanctuary.
Upon arrival, the turkeys were given a short stay in our quarantine area to ensure their health and safety. Once they were cleared and ready, we moved them to a spacious forest enclosure. The turkeys are now thriving in their new environment, happily exploring their surroundings and enjoying their newfound freedom. It’s a joy to witness their delight as they adapt to their improved lives at our sanctuary.
