Meet Majestic Mena, Phuket Zoo rescued tiger

Mena, then and now!

It is hard to describe the joy of seeing Mena explore and grow in confidence in her new world. We are thrilled to introduce you to majestic Mena, from Phuket Zoo. When we rescued Mena, her body condition wasn’t good. Big patches of her fur were missing. Mena is Mee Mee’s mother and is best friends with Baithong, who is Maruay’s mother. It is a real family affair here at WFFT.

Mena is 12 years old and was born in a zoo in Bangkok. She has been quite nervous going into the huge outside habitat. It is something she has never known before – nature! Slowly but surely, she is exploring. It was magical to see her claw a tree for the FIRST time in her life.
