We don’t want to live in a world without #BigCats! This #WorldWildlifeDay, let’s all commit to protecting big cats.

Did you know that 3 of 9 #tiger subspecies have become extinct due to human activities? We don’t want to live in a world without #BigCats! This #WorldWildlifeDay, let’s all commit to protecting big cats.

Thailand is home to two sub-species of tiger, the Critically Endangered Malayan tiger (Panthera tigris jacksoni) which inhabits forests in the south of the country, and the increasingly Endangered Indochinese tiger (Panthera tigris corbetti) which is found in both the Eastern and the Western Forest Complexes.

WFFT has worked on various tiger projects throughout its history from campaigning against inhumane tiger petting zoos such as the Tiger Temple to working on undercover operations revealing damming facts about the illegal wildlife trade and the illegal farming of tigers in the region. We will continue to fight for the tigers of Thailand and their cousins in neighboring countries. When the Buying Stops the Killing Stops too. #PredatorsUnderThreat #WWD2018
