A blind crocodile, named Bond, has been rescued and brought to WFFT, where he's now ready to start a new life in the sanctuary.
New arrival: BubbleTea, a Green Iguana
Recently discovered in a bustling food market, BubbleTea was moments away from being killed and sold as a meal. Thankfully, he was rescued and brought to WFFT, where we are dedicated to giving him a second chance at life.
Consuming iguanas not only contributes to wildlife population decline but also fuels the cruel wildlife trade, poses health risks, and raises ethical concerns about animal welfare.
Let’s protect iguanas – not eat them!
Upon his arrival, BubbleTea received a full health assessment and is now thriving in a spacious enclosure where he can bask in the sun and explore his surroundings. We’re committed to giving him the best care, and we’re excited to watch him flourish in his new home!
As a non-native species who cannot be released into the wild, BubbleTea will rely on WFFT for the rest of his life.
