Update – Thor The Car Crash Infant Macaque

Who remembers Thor, the infant long-tailed Macaque that was hit by a car? Due to the accident, Thor had multiple skull fractures that disoriented him due to brain damage with little chance of survival. But almost a month after rehabilitation at the Wildlife Hospital, Thor has improved significantly.

The results from the X-ray examination have shown that the bones in the skull are now connected. His appetite and his movement are also getting better. The Vet Team told us that Thor might actually has a chance to go back home. We had set a trail camera to see his movements. Let’s take a look!

มีใครจำ ธอร์ ลูกลิงที่ประสบอุบัติเหตุถูกรถชนได้ไหมครับ? จากอุบัติเหตุทำให้กะโหลกของธอร์เเตก 2 ที่เเละมีอาการกระทบกระเทือนทางสมอง ตอบสนองช้ากว่าปกติ ซึ่งมีโอกาสรอดชีวิตเพียงเล็กน้อยเท่านั้นเเต่หลังจากพักฟื้นอยู่ที่โรงพยาบาลสัตว์ป่าเป็นเวลาหนึ่งเดือน ธอร์มีอาการที่ดีขึ้นอย่างเห็นได้ชัดเจน

จากผลตรวจ X-ray ชี้ให้เห็นว่าขณะนี้กะโหลกศีรษะของธอร์เชื่อมติดกันเป็นที่เรียบร้อย นอกจากนั้นยังทานอาหารได้ปกติเเละยังมีการเคลื่อนไหวที่ดีขึ้นอีกด้วย ทีมสัตว์เเพทย์บอกกับเราว่าอีกธอร์มีโอกาสที่จะได้กลับบ้านสูง เราได้ติดกล้องติดตามการเคลื่อนไหวของธอร์ เรามาดูกันเลยครับ
