The Next Big Step for Songkran
Northern pig-tailed macaque Songkran has gone through her quarantine stage and has now moved next to a field where 12 other young macaques live. This is the next step in her rehabilitation, we hope that in time she will once again learn how to behave like a real monkey. So far her new neighbours are very interested, especially ‘Bandit’ who is the oldest monkey in the troop, many of you will know her as the macaque with only one arm and no legs. She is the boss of this group but she also helps new troop members settle in. We will keep you posted on Songkrans progress.
