Shampoo and Hoy, two stunning long-tailed macaques, have recently arrived at WFFT after enduring years in a cramped cage, deprived of sunlight and freedom.
The devastating impact of human-wildlife conflict
Graphic image warning. This is the devastating impact of human-wildlife conflict.
This little guy is called Bua Kaw, and we truly didn’t think he would make it through the first night. Right now, we are assessing if he has permanent brain damage. He will need round-the-clock care, and we are appealing for donations to help us save little, Bua Kaw.
This long-tailed macaque was hit by a car. Thankfully, the person who hit him stopped and called us right away. Our team rushed to the scene to bring him back to the WFFT hospital for urgent treatment. On arrival, he was unresponsive, he couldn’t open his eyes and he couldn’t eat on his own. Amazingly, he made it through the night and now, he is eating by himself. Without urgent rescue, Bua Kaw would not have survived. Supporters like you gave him a chance at survival, but he has a LONG way to go, and we need your kindness to cover the costs of his care, veterinary treatment and specialist help he will need, every step of the way. Can you please donate and help today?
Anything raised in excess of the funds required for this campaign will be used to support WFFT’s work to help wildlife in south-east Asia.
