Shampoo and Hoy, two stunning long-tailed macaques, have recently arrived at WFFT after enduring years in a cramped cage, deprived of sunlight and freedom.
Rescued slow loris goes wild again!
It has been a good week for animal releases at WFFT! ‘Eva’ the wild slow loris was brought to WFFT at the end of December with electrocution burns to the legs and face. “Eva” was treated with antibiotics, wound cleaning and eye drops for her wounds and an ulcer on her left eye. Fortunately the eye has completely healed with no effect on her vision. With her treatment complete and wounds healed she was finally released into our forest where we often spot others of her kind at night.
The WFFT wildlife hospital and mobile wildlife clinic do not get any government funding or support of other organizations. You can help us help animals by donating to WFFT or WFI on our donation page
