Rescued – Mike The Slow Loris

สัปดาห์นี้ทีมหน่อยกู้ภัยได้เดินทางไปที่มูลนิธิกู้ภัยสว่างสรรเพชญห่างจากมูลนิธิเพื่อนสัตว์ป่า30นาที หลังจากได้รับเเจ้งมาว่ามีคนพบเจอนางอายป่ากำลังหาที่หลบภัยใหม่ เมื่อกลับมาถึงที่โรงพยาบาลทีมสัตวเเพทย์ได้ตรวจร่างกายเเละพบว่าตาของ “ ไมค์ “ ผิดปกติทั้ง 2 ข้าง น่าจะมาจากการถูกเเมลงกัด

คุณหมอบอกกับเราว่าตาเป็นสิ่งที่เปราะบางมากจำเป็นต้องหมั่นเช็คเเละให้ยาทุกวันจนกว่าจะหาย เเต่ก็ยังมีโอกาศที่ไมค์จะได้กลับป่าสูงมากๆ ต้องขอขอบคุณหน่วยกู้ภัยสว่างสรรเพชญอีกครั้งที่ส่งต่อเรื่องนี้มาให้นะครับมาติดตามกันนะครับว่า ไมค์ จะเป็นยังไงต่อไป

This week the WFFT Rescue Team headed to the Sawang Sanpetch Foundation, 30 minutes away from the WFFT headquarters. We had received a phone call about a wild Bengal Slow Loris that had been found seeking shelter in a building. After a medical examination, our team discovered inflammation in Mike’s eyes this might due to Insects bites.

Mike will stay at the WFFT Wildlife Hospital under close observation. The WFFT Vet Team will administer eyes drops each day until his infection has healed. We hope that after treatment he will be able to return back to a safe protected wild area.

Lastly, we have to say a huge thank you to Sawang Sanpetch Foundation who contacted us; we will keep you posted about Mike’s condition.
