Rescued : Car Crashed Juvenile Long-tailed Macaque

Tuesday night, the WFFT Wildlife Rescue Team received a call. A baby long-tailed macaque (Macaca fascicularis) was hit by a car with serious injuries.

Upon returning back to the Wildlife Hospital, the Veterinary Team did an initial examination and found the monkey had large wounds around his body with heart arrhythmias.

After close observation and let him settle for a few days, his condition is improving and starts to eat on his own. He will return back to the wild once we are sure that he has the best chance to survive on his own. We will keep you posted about his condition.

กลางดึกวันอังคารที่ผ่านมาทีมกู้ภัยมูลนิธิเพื่อนสัตว์ป่าได้รับเเจ้งมาว่า มีลูงลิงเเสม(Long-tailed macaque)ถูกรถชนบาดเจ็บสาหัสนอนหมดสติอยู่บนถนนต้องการความช่วยเหลืออย่างเร่งด่วน

เมื่อนำกลับมาที่โรงพยาบาลทีมสัตวเเพทย์ได้ตรวจร่างกาย พบว่าเจ้าลิงมีรอยเเผลขนาดใหญ่บริเวณหน้าอกเเละมีอาการหัวใจเต้นผิดปกติ เบื้องต้นได้ทำการให้น้ำเกลือเเละทำเเผลเป็นที่เรียบร้อย

หลังจากเฝ้าดูอาการเเละปล่อยให้พักฝื้น 2 วันต่อมาเจ้าลิงมีอาการดีขึ้นเริ่มทานอาหารเองได้เเล้ว เจ้าลิงจะถูกนำปล่อยคืนสู่ถิ่นธรรมชาติเมื่อพร้อมที่จะอยู่ได้ด้วยตนเอง มาติดตามกันนะครับว่าเจ้าลิงจะเป็นยังไงต่อไป
