Shampoo and Hoy, two stunning long-tailed macaques, have recently arrived at WFFT after enduring years in a cramped cage, deprived of sunlight and freedom.
Pregnant Loris Translocated For Her Safety
A few days ago, one of our dedicated animal care staff spotted an endangered slow loris being chased by dogs. He quickly sprang into action, rescuing the loris from a potentially lethal situation and bringing her to WFFT.
A vet check revealed that this precious primate was expecting a baby!
Our team swiftly released her back into the wild at a safer location, giving her and her future baby the best chance for a peaceful life in their natural habitat.
We wish this expectant mother a safe and happy future!
