Pig-tailed macaques scares villagers
Relocating a handsome boy!
A fully grown male pig-tailed macaque has been scaring villagers in Petchburi province for a few days this week. After villagers could no longer feel safe in their houses they called WFFT to catch and relocate the big boy!
The macaque probably came from Kaengkrachan National park (Thailand’s biggest and most beautiful national park) and was looking for a new group to join, as males do every few years, and got lost in a few villages, not knowing his way back to the big jungle. A few months ago villagers knocked a similar macaque down and killed it as they were scared it would attack people, WFFT is very happy that this time they decided to ask for our help!
This handsome man will be relocated within 24 hours.
