Photo Diary – Canoe’s First Day in his New Home

Two days ago courageous Canoe the recently rescued chimpanzee walked on soil, climbed trees and looked at the sky for the first time. This handsome boy amazed us all with his courage. Canoe has settled in to his new spacious home.

Some of you may have followed the live video; here are some photos of this momentous day.

A huge thank you to Amy Caplan and all those who donated and helped fund the construction his new home.

We are still struggling with funds to care for all the other animals living at WFFT and can no longer rescue more animals. Help Us Help Them by donating at https://www.wfft.org/donate/

Watch out for a special animal adoption program launching very soon.

Thank you to Paul Wagstaff for helping us with the photography.
