Five monkeys, all with unique and terrible pasts, are now living together as a family. Introducing you to the babies: Lily, Gwarn, Somchai and Im Un, and their new foster mum, Pitcha.

Zeus not only survived his terrible electrocution, but this strong-willed boy has since been released back to the wild.

This young macaque is a wild monkey who was tragically electrocuted. Three of her limbs were burnt beyond possible repair.

Iguanas are, unfortunately, popular pets in Thailand. He will be a permanent resident at WFFT as we cannot release him into the wild.

It is amazing to watch them striding along the ropes with ease, and swinging and jumping through the air with such joy.

We’re so happy that our rescued macaques Madmee, Pearl, Boon Ma, Mowgli and Jao Khun are thriving in their new enclosure.

The electric shock was so bad that it has burnt many of the tendons and much of the muscle in two of her limbs. The wounds are also necrotic.
