Little macaque attacked with machete

Just in time to save it’s life!

A juvenile long-tailed macaque was hit yesterday with a knife by a person in Petchburi city. The livestock department went to the rescue of this poor guy and handed it over today to WFFT so it can get further treatment and recover at WFFT. The damage is quite serious but we have good hope he can recover soon. Local villagers did see the attack by a man and stopped him from killing the poor little monkey.
