End the Suffering of Tormented Coconut Monkeys

Chained, beaten, sick, and living in some of the most horrendous conditions imaginable, monkeys used and abused to collect coconuts endure some of the worst animal cruelty.

We believe there are somewhere around 3,000 coconut monkeys in Thailand, and they need you to help end their nightmare. Southern (Endangered) and Northern (Vulnerable) pig-tailed macaques are ripped away from their mothers at just a few weeks old. They are ‘trained’ through beatings and chains to climb trees and harvest coconuts.

It’s time to end this suffering!

We are putting the wheels in motion to create real change, but we need your help to secure the land and build sanctuary facilities where coconut monkeys can recover from their trauma and retire. The extreme cruelty they endure leaves them emotionally scarred, and it can take years in sanctuary for them to begin to heal.

This will likely be our biggest animal welfare challenge yet.

By working with the coconut industry and Thai authorities, we have an ambitious plan to end the abuse of coconut monkeys. But we can’t do it without you.
