Celebrating Nam Chok’s one-year Anniversary at WFFT!

Today, Nam Chok, one of our beautiful rescued elephants, is marking her one-year anniversary at WFFT.

On 29 September 2023, Nam Chok was in a very different situation. She bore the weight of a riding saddle and was forced to carry countless tourists, many of whom were likely unaware of the suffering she endured for 50 long years. This life of exploitation took a toll on her spirit and well-being—until supporters like you stepped in to change her world.

Now, one year later, Nam Chok is thriving in her new home. She is free from the chains that once bound her and the bullhook that inflicted heartbreaking pain. Today, she is living life on her own terms, enjoying the peace and happiness that every elephant deserves.

If you share our love for elephants, please avoid visiting any establishments that exploit them through activities like riding, bathing and shows. And consider making a small monthly donation— 10 Euros can feed Nam Chok for an entire day. Your generosity is essential in ensuring our elephants receive the lifelong sanctuary they deserve.
