Boon Chuey settling in at WFFT

After years of hard labor now retired

Remember “Boon Chuey”, the elephant that was rescued 10 days ago from the elephant camp in Pattaya? (see photo)

The very last ride is over.
The very last ride is over.

Well, Boon Chuey is doing well at WFFT now, after a long trip on the back of the truck she is now settling in well, and off the chains within 4 days at the center only! Boon Chuey is happy in her paddock and has been introduced to her new friend Nam Petch and they seem to like eachother during the days. It will take a bit more time until they will be left together day and night, as both are still strengthening up and need some privacy to sleep at night.

Enjoy the first photos of Boon Chuey hereunder.
