A beautiful Barn Owl rescue

A perfect rescue is one with a release back to the wild!

“Barney” the owl was rescued by the WFFT wildlife rescue team after he was hit by a car and found by villagers along the road. With a broken wing and a broken leg he needed long-term care, and now after weeks of treatment he is almost ready to go back to the wild. He is spreading his wings again and soon his leg will be free of the cast.

As soon as his leg is found to be completely healed Barney will be set free again, hopefully he will stay away from the busy Thailand roads!
