Jackals are no pets…

Jackals look like dogs to some people. But when they are very young they actually do. For this reason some people do not realise that they actually have a wild and protected animal in their possession until it gets older and turns kind of wild.

This Asiatic Golden Jackal was kept in Bangkok for the first 9 months of its life, until the owner started to get suspicious, he started to get aggressive to some people and the looks were different to other dogs.

WFFT already gives shelter to several other jackals and we hope she can integrate into the group. For now she will first be quarantined.
