Balu the sunbear finds new friends at WFFT

Balu is now 5 days with his new friends and doing so well!

Balu is a sunbear cub that was rescued over one year ago and has been living on his own since rescue as he was too small to join other bears. With help of Anz (of the Free the Bears Foundation) he has now been introduced to two other sun-bears, Kamala and Kanyai in their spacious open sky enclosure.

For now it seems they are doing well, sniffing around each other and playing a bit. We hope that Balu and the other two girls will make the friendship last!
