ค่างเป็นที่รู้จักในนาม ‘ ลิงใบไม้ ‘ พวกมันมีกระเพาะที่ซับซ้อนเเละมีหลายช่องทำให้ค่างเป็นสัตว์ชนิดเดียวในตระกูลไพรเมทที่เคี้ยวเอื้อง โดยพวกมันจัดอยู่ในวงศ์ย่อย Colobinae ในวงศ์ลิงโลกเก่า ซึ่งมีมากกว่า60ชนิดอาศัยอยู่ในเอเชียและแอฟริกา
Volunteers Harvesting Fresh Water Mussels

At WFFT, collecting fresh water mussels from the WFFT lake is a fun task for volunteers. We harvest the mussels once a month to make sure we do not reduce the wild population.

We had received a phone call about a wild Bengal Slow Loris that had been found seeking shelter in a building. After a medical examination, our team discovered inflammation in Mike's eyes this might due to Insects bites.

‘Pu Yai Fai’ a male Asiatic golden cat (Catopuma temminckii) was illegally poached from the wild and spent the first two years of his life in a tiny cage. His owner decided to contact us and ask if we could give Pu Yai Fai a better future.

Our vet team has used endoscopic surgery to sterilize Bandai the rescued long-tailed macaque. As you can see, Bandai has very small stitches which means he can recover at a faster rate before he is released back to the wild !!
