14 Endangered Freshwater Turtles Return Back to the Wild

Yesterday 14 freshwater turtles returned back to the wild after spending some time at the WFFT Wildlife Rescue after being rescued due to varying circumstances. These are the lucky ones after being kept as pets or rescued from the dinner plate they now have a second chance at a wild life. Concerned members of the public often bring turtles to us after finding them in a road or in their gardens. After being given the all clear by the vet team the turtles were transported to a protected area close to the WFFT Wildlife Rescue Centre and released back to the wild. Swim Free Turtles!!!
