New Rescue: Blind Crocodile Finds Sanctuary at WFFT

A few days ago, our rescue team picked up a crocodile who has been surrendered to WFFT for life-long care.

We named him Bond, and we suspect that his eyes may have been removed—which, if true, is a very cruel act against any animal. This serves as a heartbreaking reminder that crocodiles shouldn’t be kept captive; they deserve to live freely in the wild, not in confinement.

At WFFT, Bond will receive the care he needs. He is currently under the supervision of our veterinary team for monitoring and to help him gain some weight. See Bond’s story below and stay tuned for updates as he settles into his new sanctuary life!
