Baithong the tiger gets a health check

Tiger Health Check

When we recently moved Baithong to her new enclosure, we also gave her a health check and dental check. We are pleased to report that Baithong is in good health! One of her lower canines is fractured and quite worn, so we may need to remove it in the future. But otherwise, she got a clean bill of health.

Baithong recently turned 13 years old. She was rescued in 2022 from Phuket Zoo, which closed down due to the financial impact of COVID-19.
