Our beloved Pin has passed away

It is with great sadness that today we announce the passing of our beloved Pin.

She has had 7 happy years filled with love and care, living with her mother and aunts.

Pin had a long-sustained injury for which she received intensive veterinary care over the last 2 years. A fractured bone on her upper front leg has made her life extremely uncomfortable for the past few months and there were no signs of improvement. Today she left this world for another.

Thank you to Joan Pearson for making her freedom possible, and thank you to all those who have cared for Pin over the years.

The Elephant Care and Veterinary Teams are all devastated by this loss. This afternoon, we held a Buddhist ceremony to allow passage to the next life.

Run free little one. We will never forget you. ❤️

ด้วยความอาลัยอย่างสุดซึ้งและเสียใจเป็นอย่างยิ่ง ทางมูลนิธิเพื่อนสัตว์ป่าขอแจ้งข่าวการจากไปของปิ่น ช้างน้อยผู้เป็นที่รักของเราทุกคน

ปิ่นใช้ชีวิต 7 ปี บนโลกใบนี้อยู่กับแม่ และป้า ห้อมล้อมไปด้วยความรักและเอาใจใส่จากเราทุกคนที่นี่

เป็นเวลากว่าสองปีที่ปิ่นได้รับการรักษา และดูแลอย่างใกล้ชิดจากทีมสัตวแพทย์ เนื่องจากอาการบาดเจ็บเรื้อรัง
กระดูกร้าวที่ขาหน้าซ้ายส่งผลให้ปิ่นใช้ชีวิตอย่างยากลำบากในช่วงหลายเดือนที่ผ่านมา เราพยายามรักษาทุกวิถีทางแต่อาการไม่ดีขึ้น และในวันนี้ปิ่นได้ลาจากโลกนี้กลับดาวช้าง

มูลนิธิเพื่อนสัตว์ป่าขอขอบคุณ คุณโจน เพียร์สัน ที่ให้อิสรภาพแก่ปิ่นเมื่อ 7 ปี ก่อน และขอขอบคุณทุกท่านที่คอยดูแลปิ่นมาตลอด

ทีมดูแลช้างและทีมสัตวแพทย์เสียใจต่อการสูญเสียครั้งนี้อย่างมากมาย และเมื่อบ่ายโมงที่ผ่านมา เราได้ทำพิธีทางศาสนา ขอนำทางให้ปิ่นไปสู่ดินแดนแสนสุขในภายภาคหน้า

วิ่งให้เต็มที่เลยนะเจ้าตัวน้อย หนูจะอยู่ในใจของเราทุกคนตลอดไป
