From Phuket Zoo to WFFT. Introducing Bengal Tiger, Baithong.

This beautiful girl was born in a zoo in Bangkok and has only ever known life in Thai zoos. Baithong is the mother of Maruay, one of our other recent rescues, and is 12 years old. Unlike her son, Baithong is a bit nervous being in a huge outside habitat. It is such a dramatic change in environment to have acres of grasslands, lakes and trees. We are excited to watch her settle in and adapt to her new sanctuary home and will share more photos in due course.

We cannot say it enough: her life has only changed for the better because of supporters like you. It is amazing what we can do together. And Baithong will rely on WFFT and our supporters for the rest of her life. It is a huge commitment. It will cost around 300 Euros to feed and care for Baithong each month.
