Gibbons back on the WFFT islands!
After almost 2 years the gibbons are back…on the islands!
At the WFFT wildlife rescue center we have had gibbon islands since 2002, all islands made by us using a backhoe. Unfortunately we have had no good raining season since 2010, hence the gibbons had to taken off the islands in the end of 2011… BUT this year we have had lots of rain and our lake is completely filled up! Over the last week we have moved gibbons back to 5 of the 8 islands on the lake and they are enjoying the spacious islands and trees to swing on. See here a latest update!
