International march for Elephants
Please join us in Bangkok to protest against the killing of the elephants; a peaceful march held 04.10.13 at 17:00hrs at the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre. This is part of a global initiative from the David Sheldrick Foundation to stop the ivory trade. Last year up to 36,000 elephants were killed for their ivory; 1 life lost every 15 minutes. At current rate of poaching African Elephants could face extinction in the wild by 2025.
WFFT, Save Elephant Foundation and Animal Activist Alliance Thailand organize the march in Bangkok; on the same date as the march is held in at least 20 cities around the world (and this number is still growing).
Take action and join us Friday October 4th in Bangkok!
