Your privacy is important to Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand (WFFT). We will look after any personal information you share with us. Your details will be kept safe and secure, only used by those who work for us. Your details will not be shared or rented to third parties for marketing purposes.
We may collect your personal information when you contact WFFT, for example: if you enquire about our activities including volunteering, to receive our updates/information, visiting our project, or making a donation. This may be when you email or call us, enquire through our website, or contact us in the post.
WFFT will only collect personal information that you provide. This could include email, address, name, date of birth, telephone number. Donor information is collected for the purpose of processing your donation, processing receipt of your donation and to share updates on our work, including through email, advertising and other methods. We will not hold your personal information for longer than is absolutely necessary.
Personal information about you may be collected if you subscribe to receive email updates from WFFT. Your information will be processed by Mailchimp. MailChimp’s privacy policy can be read here. We may also use the information you give us to personalise our communications to you. The information we collect and store can only be accessed by our staff.
We may collect personal information when it is shared by third parties, such as through fundraising sites such as Indiegogo. These organisations will have their own privacy policies, and/or statements, so please do ensure you check when providing your personal information to them. The information we get from these third parties depends on your settings and the permissions and choices you have provided.
Any credit card details we receive through our website may be passed securely to our partners who are compliant with Payment Card Industry Security Standard to fulfil and process your donation. We do not store any credit/debit card information.
We gather information from our website using analytics provided by Google Inc., Google Analytics. We also use Google AdWords and Facebook cookies. Such tools may track information. Website features such as Facebook Like or Share buttons may collection information such as your IP address.
We will retain your personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the relevant activity and relationship you have with us, as well as for any legal or regulatory requirement. If you request that we stop sending you communications, we will keep a record of your contact details and relevant information, to enable us to fulfil with your request not to be contacted by us. We will not keep any information we don’t need.
