We visited in August and were very impressed with the work done by the Centre. The animals are well cared for and kept in very well constructed enclosures that are designed to prevent the boredom that is often associated with being kept in captivity. The enrichment programs certainly help captive animals to have a better quality of life, and we hope that the Centre will be able to further expand to accommodate even more of the wild animals which sadly require the help of the Centre.

I spent 3 Months at the center from May to August 2005 and i can tell you there are few places left were such dedicated people work to reverse humans destructive nature. Anyone undecided sa to going to volunteer or even just to see the center - Let me remove all doubt... "GO AS SOON AS YOU CAN!".
It was one of the most amazing things I have ever experienced and I hope soon to repeat it if at least to visit this haven.

If you would like to see my online album from that time, send me a mail and I will send you a link...

Thanks for the splendid and educational experience. Its amazing to see that sonewhere people still care and try to make an effort in saving animals who have been abused. Hopefully our donation can close a small gap in your budget.
